Ten Promises To Your Feral

2. Please trust in me. That alone makes me happy.
3. Please remember that I have feelings too.
4. When I'm disobedient, there is a reason.
5. Please talk to me as much as you can. Even though I don't speak the same words as you, I understand.
6. Remember before you hit me that I have claws that can hurt you, yet I choose not to use them.
7. Please stay with me, even when I'm old.
8. I don't go to work, and I don't have friends. Please remember, I have only you.
9. I don't know how much longer I have left. Please spend as much time with me as you can.
10. Please be by my side when I'm dying. And please remember... that I always loved you.
((OOC: Adapted from 'Ten Promises To Your Dog', as presented in the manga 'Inubaka' by Yukiya Sakuragi. In the manga, an owner adopting a dog which has been abused has to read and agree to these promises; I figured that being with a feral is pretty similar. And yes, Victor got called 'Dog' when he was a child.))
